What an era! : what will Léa Salamé’s new show look like?

On the occasion of the launch of the program called Quelle epoque! Saturday September 24, 2022, from 11:25 p.m. on France 2, Télé Star reveals what this new talk show presented by Léa Salamé will look like.

After co-hosting the show for an entire season We are live every week alongside Laurent Ruquier on France 2, Lea Salame finally inherited his own talk show following the departure of his sidekick. The one who will now embody the emblematic box of Saturday in the 2nd part of the evening on the public channel will be at the controls of a new program called What an era!. This program “is part of the great tradition of the Saturday evening box, whose key words will be freedom of speech and impertinence. And, at the same time, a place where we relax, have fun, and laugh through completely addictive meetings.“, underlined the public channel in a press release.

A spectacular, funny and festive talk show, a social and entertainment program, which will tell our time and question our society. Because our time is crossed by profound transformations, major fractures and major ideological debates. Because our society is marked by changing youth, strong personalities, new lifestyles and overflowing creativity! What an era! is a place of meetings and debates. A meeting place between the personalities who mark the cultural, societal, political or media news, in real life as on social networks. A stage designed as an arena where artists, polemicists, intellectuals, politicians, great sportsmen, personalities of power and witnesses of the news will meet and debate. But also new talents and young influencers!“, added France 2.

What an era! : Léa Salamé will be surrounded by Christophe Dechavanne and Philippe Caverivière

At the center of this arena, Léa Salamé will take the pulse of this era like no other, celebrate it or criticize it, but never for free. With, around her, incisive, funny and surprising personalities“, also specified the public channel. The former emblematic host of TF1, Christophe Dechavanne, landed the role of permanent guest. “The one who told the 90s so well, who proved to us that we could say everything, show everything on TV, will have a particular look at the era we are going through. He will be the permanent guest of the show and will be able to intervene at any time in the show. He will also have his appointment, since he will receive a guest every week“, precise France 2. Already officiating in We are live last season, comedian Philippe Caverivière “will be present several times in the show, with an appointment dedicated to the political week and another dedicated to the planet people and social networks“.
