After 16 long years at the helm of the legendary Saturday slot in the 2nd part of the evening on France 2, Laurent Ruquier decided to give up his place to Léa Salamé. As a reminder, the two hosts presented the show On est en direct as a duo last season. Following the departure of Laurent Ruquier, Léa Salamé therefore inherited a brand new weekly talk show on the public channel, the next issue of which will be broadcast on Saturday January 27, 2024, from 11:25 p.m. Called What a time!, this new show will be able to count on the presence of Christophe Dechavanne as a permanent guestbut also on the humor of Philippe Caverivière, already present in On est en direct last season.
“It is a historic and cult box of France Télévisions, even an institution. When I was young, I loved Thierry Ardisson’s shows (editor’s note: Everyone is talking about it). Later, I liked those of Laurent Ruquier, where I also had the chance to be co-presenter in On est en direct last year. What an era! : eight guests present on set this week
This week, Léa Salamé will once again welcome several of her colleagues on set. The host will receive in particular the two journalists from World Gérard Davet and Fabrice Lhomme. The presenter of What a time! also invited his colleague Faustine Bollaert, who daily presents the show called It begins today on France 2. The singer Joyce Jonathan will also be present on the set of Quelle époque! this week, just like the comedian Redouane Bougheraba, and the musician Laurie Darmon. Finally, Doctor Frédéric Saldmann and sociologist Gérald Bronner will be Léa Salamé’s last two guests this week.
