The opportunity to meet three actors at the start of their career, but already at the height of their talent: Jake Gyllenhaal (Spider-Man: Far From Home), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk in the avengers) and Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man). With Zodiac, David Fincher signs a sticky thriller on one of the most notorious serial killers in the United States. Superheroes in black and white mode: Zack Snyder’s Justice League
If you’re more of a DC Comics team than a Marvel team, you really should check out this darker and vastly more successful take on the awful Justice League by Joss Whedon. Zack Snyder (Man of Steel, Watchmen), who had worked on the project before leaving it hastily for family reasons, delivers here his own vision of the feature film. Far from perfect, this “Snyder Cut” still largely catches up with the original work, in which Batman teams up with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and Flash to save the world.
The filmmaker brings a more nuanced, more coherent work, but also inevitably longer (4 hours, all the same). Zack Snyder’s Justice League is thus ultimately a good superhero film, with convincing fights and grandiloquent staging. The feature film is even available in two versions: color or black and white. You are therefore left for 8 hours of viewing in total. Something to occupy your summer between two heat waves.
The fairy cartoon: Azure & Asmar
Remember: in 1998, director Michel Ocelot turned French animation upside down with Kirikou and the witch. Eight years later, he renewed the experience with Azure and Asmar, his first computer-generated film. If the result has aged slightly visually, the feature film remains a beautiful moment of poetry and enchantment. Azur and Asmar tells the story of two children who love each other like two brothers, but are brutally separated during childhood. As adults, they each go in search of the famous Fairy of the Djins…

Poor or rich, young or old, progressive or downright reactionary, each passenger, usually anonymous, allows you to explore a whole section of Iranian society.
A few days ago, filmmaker Jafar Panahi was again arrested in Iran and is currently serving a 6-year sentence for propaganda against the regime. Taxi Tehran, filmed clandestinely in his country, is one of the finest films of his career.
The funny striptease: magic mike
