Far from being a simple sequel to blade runner from 1982, which has become cult, this new dive into the urban universe of the replicans should please all SF fans. Directed by one of the current masters of the genre in cinema, Denis Villeneuve (Dune, First Contact), blade runner 2049 takes place thirty years after the first film. This is how Agent K, a Nexus 8 generation replicant, played by Ryan Gosling (Drive, La La Land), is responsible for tracking down and eliminating old models still in circulation. When he discovers an old secret capable of changing the world, he will have to find the famous Rick Deckard, former Blade Runner…
Urban landscapes devoured by technology, suffocating deserts, futuristic interiors… All the sets and special effects of blade runner 2049 are absolutely sumptuous, putting on a great show with every new shot. And that is the great strength of the film: taking the time to contemplate landscapes, situations, without giving in to easy action. So as much to warn you: as before Dunes, you won’t be overwhelmed with combat sequences or explosions. But the feature film still promises an amazing immersive journey, on the borders of science fiction and our future potential.

The central trio, Charles, Olivier and Mabel, form a team as complementary as they are hilarious, which we take pleasure in following over the episodes.
With two seasons already on the clock and a third in preparation, the series has won over a large audience thanks to its short 30-minute episodes and its absurd humor in all circumstances. The icing on the cake: the twists are numerous and take us completely off guard, with fine and intelligent writing.
