A new expansion presented at BlizzCon?
This is the big rumor surrounding the event this year! What if Blizzard took advantage of the return of BlizzCon to reveal the new World of Warcraft expansion? Everything seems in place for this with small announcements on the return of Chris Metzen from the studio, an obvious lack of potential content on other franchises and the need to strike hard with the comeback of BlizzCon after three cancellations.
In addition, the timing is rather good on the WoW side: Season 3 is starting soon, it should last until April or May 2024, allowing then to continue with a shorter Season 4 before the release of a new one. extension at the end of summer. What content on WoW Classic and WoW Hardcore at BlizzCon?

Indeed, users who were fans of the original concept of WoW Hardcore regretted the slightly more social aspect of the extreme realms (the possibility of grouping up, making exchanges), a point that the developers seemed to want to correct.
Conversely, it is difficult to see what could be announced around WoW Classic. Although popular, the concept now seems a little limited since WoTLK is the last expansion where the nostalgia aspect seems important within the community.
