The term “glamping” is made up of the words “glamorous” and “camping” and describes a luxurious way of camping. Forget wet tents and flat air mattresses, with glamping you can also experience comfort on an outdoor holiday.
More and more travel agencies are offering chic caravans, bungalows or giant tents so that travelers can be comfortable without a hotel holiday and be in nature at the same time. The whole thing is of course much more expensive than a normal camping holiday, but it is becoming increasingly popular.

If you want to experience a camping holiday with glamor yourself, you can call it glamping. Most of the time you don’t even need your own equipment for glamping, as this is provided by travel agencies and mobile home rentals. But even if you own a large mobile home with a shower, you can still call it glamping.
