What does “host” mean?
The term “host” on Twitch refers to the function of using your own Twitch channel to broadcast another streamer’s live stream on your own site. When a streamer “hosts” another, they temporarily share their own channel with the hosted stream, allowing their viewers to see the other streamer’s content without having to change channels.
How to use “Host”?
The “Host” feature is often used to share the viewer base and support other streamers. For example, a streamer can host a friend’s channel when they go online. This allows both streamers to connect their viewers and reach new people.
