What is the calendar of public holidays on the Paris Stock Exchange in 2022?

(BFM Bourse) – Usually open every day from Monday to Friday, the Paris Stock Exchange will only have three public holidays in 2022 (including by tradition Good Friday, which is not otherwise part of the legal public holidays), i.e. as many than in 2021. Once again, operators in the United States will benefit from many more rest days (eight not counting Black Friday!)

The Paris Bourse will be closed in 2022 on the following dates:

  • Friday April 15 (Good Friday)
  • Monday April 18 (Easter Monday)
  • Monday, December 26

Conversely, on Thursday May 26 (Ascension), Monday, June 6 (Pentecost)Thursday July 14 (national holiday) and Friday November 11 (Armistice 1918), the Paris Stock Exchange will be open to trade like its counterparts (Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon), even if the volumes could be more or less reduced on these dates.

Among the other Euronext markets, Amsterdam, Brussels and Lisbon will experience the same closure schedule as Paris. On the other hand, the Dublin Stock Exchange benefits from two more public holidays (May 2 and December 27) and the Oslo Stock Exchange from four more days (like Maundy Thursday).
