Two women had already pointed out the Vampire lift method in an AIDS virus infection; new women seem to have been infected because of this practice. An aesthetic medicine technique, the vampire lift is nevertheless offered in many spas in the United States. A treatment based on injections of “platelet-rich plasma» called PRP or plasma exchange taken from the client’s arm. The blood is then processed in a special machine to finally be sprayed on the face of this said client who will have previously been stung. Vampire lift: this dangerous treatment when poorly practiced
Although it a priori allows the visible signs of age to be erased from the faces of those who practice it, the vampire lift is also a particularly painful and dangerous treatment if performed incorrectly. Normally offered by aesthetic medicine doctors, the vampire lift is nevertheless on the menu of many SPAs which offer this practice completely illegally.
An illegality which unfortunately leads to tragic situations. The American public health agency, the CDCP, has just confirmed in an official press release that nearly four women were all in a “middle age» were contaminated by the AIDS virus (HIV) following the practice of a facial treatment called Vampire lift. The treatment in question was carried out for all of the infected women in the same SPA, an establishment in the State of New Mexico.

How can contamination occur?
It is through improper use of needles and syringes that contamination may have occurred during this treatment so appreciated by celebrities. The authorities in charge of the case indicated that the syringes were unfortunately used on several people and that they were not or poorly sterilized between two uses.
If the SPA in question was finally closed and its manager, a 62-year-old woman, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison for practicing medicine without a license, it is worth remembering that the care of the vampire face lift must be performed by aesthetic medicine professionals trained in the use of needles and syringes.
