In the event that you can no longer reach your destination by train, there are alternatives. If the train can no longer find an alternative connection, or this is unreasonable, then they either have to ensure that you get to your destination in a different way, or they have to pay for a hotel.
In such a situation, communication is important. If you can’t get any further, you should have this confirmed by the train attendants on the train. Then the train would have to find accommodation and the trip there and back in the morning. If this is not possible, you can also organize a hotel yourself. You should definitely keep the bill for that.
Since the train connection is canceled after a delay of 60 minutes, you can then continue with the next connection.
