Octave Steps In to Assist Nordine with the Investigation
On Thursday, November 7, in Tomorrow Belongs to Us, tensions rise as Roxane hands over a letter from the rapist, which she discovered in her mailbox, to Damien, without informing Sara. Michaël is puzzled by the rapist’s new approach, threatening victims while leaving no clues about his next target. However, Damien believes the letter holds vital information, prompting Michaël to trust him in uncovering the mystery.
At the Fit Sète Club, Octave encounters Nordine in the locker room and offers his assistance with the investigation. Nordine accepts and quickly quizzes him about club members, later asking him to keep an eye on things. It’s then that Nordine spots an intriguing MGTOW sticker on one of the lockers and snaps a photo.
Back at the police station, Nordine shares the photo with Timothée. His research reveals that MGTOW stands for “Men Going Their Own Way,” a slogan from a masculinist movement. Timothée recalls a forum member using the alias MGTOW34 and sets out to trace the IP address linked to it.
Meanwhile, Roxane returns home for lunch and suggests to Sara that she take a few days off to visit her mother with Enora. Suspecting that Roxane is hiding something and trying to pull her away from the investigation, Sara confronts her. Ultimately, Roxane reveals the letter she found, written by the rapist.
At the station, Timothée informs Michaël that Antonin has no criminal history but has targeted members of the Fit Sète Club using fake identities. Michaël instructs him to dig deeper into their backgrounds. Concurrently, Damien brings news regarding the letter analysis: the paper is thin and manually cut, potentially leading to a significant lead.
Later, Nordine asks Damien to demonstrate how to collect DNA from a sticker. Back at the gym, he promptly collects a sample from one of the MGTOW stickers. Octave spots him and offers to keep watch, managing to stall Antonin, who is trying to enter the locker room. Nordine cleverly pretends to tie his shoelaces, finishing the collection just in time.
That evening, Roxane returns home to find Sara and their daughter Enora playing together. Sara expresses that spending time with Enora is comforting but panics at the thought of not being able to protect her. Roxane reassures her that they will soon return to a normal life.
Meanwhile, as Octave exits the Fit Sète Club, Antonin confronts him in the street, accusing him of searching through the lockers. An altercation ensues, with Antonin violently attacking Octave until Mélody intervenes.
Alain Protects His Grandson
In the morning, François and Soizic wake Adam, who grumbles about not having classes until 2 PM. However, his parents insist he spend his morning studying or tidying up his room. Soizic reminds him that he must adhere to the household rules while living with them.
Later, Soizic searches unsuccessfully for her credit card, suspecting she left it at the dry cleaners. She decides to go with François to check. Once they leave, Adam discreetly hides his mother’s credit card under a couch cushion, but is caught in the act by his grandfather. Adam confesses to borrowing it for a night out and promises Alain to keep it a secret.
Upon returning from the dry cleaners, Soizic is frustrated over her missing credit card. François tries to dismiss her annoyance until his father claims he found the card in his wallet, insisting he only used it once for a contactless payment without realizing it. While Soizic remains oblivious, François finds his father’s story a bit suspicious.
