It’s what, The Bad Batch ?

The Bad Batch is an animated series that tells the adventures of a small squad of clone troopers. It is nicknamed the “bad batch” because these clones are different. Their genetics have somehow deviated from the expected trajectory. And, as a result, they have a character very far from a standard clone.

The third season was made official in April 2023, during Star Wars Celebration. The first dates from 2021 and the second from 2023. They can be found in the Disney+ catalog. They each contain 16 episodes lasting from 20 to 30 minutes.

When is season 3 coming out? The Bad Batch ?

The third season will begin airing on February 21. The first three episodes will be available on the big day. The following ones will arrive at the rate of one per week, on Wednesdays, until May 1st. Everything will therefore end just before May 4, the day during which Lucasfilm and Disney announce their plans for Star Wars.

There is a survival guide to spot the essential episodes.

When is located The Bad Batch in Star Wars?

The adventure takes place in the middle of the Clone Wars, a galactic conflict that takes place a few decades before the very first film Star Wars (A new hope). It is precisely between films II (Attack of the Clones) and III (Revenge of the Sith) that this event takes place. These films show the beginning and end of this war.

Will there be a season 4? The Bad Batch ?

No. As you may have guessed if you have seen the promotional visuals for the series or if you follow license news with some attention, The Bad Batch will not have a fourth season. But if you particularly like animation, know that there is season two of Tales of the Jedi who is on his way.
