The body of a 12-year-old girl was discovered in a trunk on Friday evening in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. Since then, an investigation has been opened for the murder of a minor and entrusted to the criminal brigade. Four people are still in custody on Sunday, while the mystery of Lola’s death is still intact.

The investigation continues around the drama which upset Paris. A 12-year-old girl, Lola, was found dead inside a trunk overnight from Friday to Saturday. Investigators are continuing their investigations. On Saturday, six people were taken into custody. Sunday, four people are still there. They are being questioned by the crime squad. Among them, there is in particular the SDF who gave the alert, but also and above all a woman, much more suspicious than the others.

The asphyxiated child, bound hands and feet

She was seen on surveillance cameras, entering the building with the schoolgirl. No one knows her, neither the parents of the teenager, nor the local residents. Then this woman, in her twenties, was seen a second time in the street, the famous trunk in her hand. She even asked passers-by for help to carry her.

Finally, in this big box, which will remain in the street for several hours, well, there is little Lola. Asphyxiated, bound hand and foot, seriously injured in the neck. Inside, we also discover an element that is still very mysterious: two numbers, a 1 and a 0 placed on his body.

A neighborhood in shock

In this district of the 19th arrondissement, it’s a shock. Many residents were in tears yesterday and couldn’t believe it. Renée lives close to the crime scene. “It’s not reassuring for the future. It’s a crazy story, because I have grandchildren precisely,” she said nervously. “I didn’t think it could happen near here. Especially a murder like that, plus a kid!”

Flowers and letters of support were placed at the foot of the building. A psychological unit will be open tomorrow for students and staff at Lola College.
