If you want to adjust the data protection settings on WhatsApp, you won’t have to look far in the future. Messenger changes its menu navigation and now makes it more visible.

You can reach the WhatsApp settings via the three dots in the upper right corner of the main screen. Here you can make various adjustments for data protection, among other things. So far, you can find the corresponding options as a sub-item in the “Account” area. Apparently that will change soon.

As reported by WA Beta Info, the data protection options should in future be found directly under the settings as a main item and thus be accessible more quickly. The change is currently already visible in the beta versions of the messenger for iOS and Android.

Also interesting…

It remains to be seen when the change will be implemented in the app. It may well be weeks or months before WhatsApp implements the change. Messenger likes to test new features long and extensively before publication. Do you want to be among the first to test new features? Then you should sign up for the WhatsApp Beta.
