In Messenger it is possible to send one and the same message to several contacts at the same time using broadcast lists. Broadcast lists are saved lists of message recipients that you can then send messages to over and over without having to reselect them each time.
Contact query via broadcast message
Using the broadcast function described, you can determine whether you are saved as a contact with the recipients. To do this, you go through the following steps: First you go to “Broadcast” and create a new list there. Then you choose someone where you know that person saved you. Then you add the contacts you want to find out if you have been added as a contact. Then you have to send a “test message”.
If the person replies in a private chat, you’ve been added. If you don’t get an answer, it doesn’t mean anything. Checks the status of the sent message via the info button. If it says “delivered” or “read”, you are saved as a contact. If you only read “sent”, according to La Republica, it means that you are not in the person’s contact list.
