A new preview version has been released for WhatsApp on desktop. Facebook’s successor company Meta brings back the revised context menu, which has already appeared briefly for testers. Now, however, it also includes a text correction feature.
As reported by WABetaInfo, this context menu was rolled out in June. The range of functions was limited to the commands Select all, Insert and Cancel. These functions are also included again in the new beta version.
The new beta version is available to all participants in the test program and can be obtained directly from the Microsoft Store. The WhatsApp web version is not affected by the change.
