WhatsApp announces the launch of video instant messaging. So you can record and send the clips.
In addition to voice and text messages, WhatsApp now also offers instant video messages as a form of communication. But at first glance it is not clear how you send them.
This is because WhatsApp does not integrate a button directly into the app for video instant messages, but uses the button for voice messages twice.
This is how you play a video instant message on WhatsApp
If you receive a video instant message, it will be played automatically in the chat – but without sound. To hear the sound, you have to click on the video once.
Video instant messaging not working?
The new function is not yet available on all devices – in our editorial office it was only available on Android devices. If the procedure described here does not work yet, you are not doing anything wrong, the feature is simply not yet available to you.
