Meta officially opens the floodgates for screen sharing on WhatsApp.

After learning that WhatsApp was working on an email verification system, now screen sharing is starting to roll out.

Screen sharing is finally coming to WhatsApp

In June, the site WABetaInfo we learned that WhatsApp would soon have a screen sharing feature. This was then available in beta for some time to users of the Windows version of WhatsApp. Good news, Mark Zuckerberg has just confirmed the deployment of this feature to all messaging clients, including iOS and Android. Obviously, this allows you to share your screen during video calls, like Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.

Note also that this new feature also comes with a landscape mode for mobile video calls. Meta Group promises that this new display gives WhatsApp users a wider and more immersive viewing and sharing experience.
