WhatsApp is now rolling out new features worldwide that should reach all users in the coming weeks of May.
Sending pictures from one group chat to another will be a little more convenient, because you can, for example, simply forward a photo and keep the caption, delete it or just quickly write a new one. Then you don’t need to write another message for the explanation and that saves time.
Other innovations relate to surveys. This way you can limit polls to one vote per participant and be notified if someone has taken part in the poll. In addition, thanks to a filter in a chat, it is possible to search specifically for surveys, so that you don’t have to scroll long in the chat. Tap on “Chats” and then “Search”, writes WhatsApp in a blog entry.
You should also be vigilant with Messenger, because there is a new wave of spam on WhatsApp, which criminals may try to contact you with.
