In order to permanently save WhatsApp voice messages on your smartphone, you have to find the file and save it. We’ll show you how to create a “backup copy”.
WhatsApp’s much quicker voice messages are more convenient than long blocks of text. For some users, the so-called “voice notes” almost turn WhatsApp into a voice chat app.
The biggest disadvantage of voice messages is that, unlike text chats, you cannot see important information at a glance. Instead, you have to listen to the corresponding voice message again. And tracking down a specific voice message among many can be a real test of patience.
It therefore makes sense to save voice messages
It is therefore a good idea to save the files of particularly important voice messages from WhatsApp separately so that they can be easily found. The short audio clips don’t take up much storage space. A manual backup outside of WhatsApp should therefore not be a problem.
