Police officers from Traun also stopped the car of the 26-year-old Syrian from Steyr during a routine check in Pasching on Pluskaufhausstrasse. When they looked inside, they were amazed: two children, one a year old and the other three weeks old, were completely unsecured. Asked about the lack of child safety devices, the man freaked out and could not be calmed down. After repeated requests to stop his behavior, the arrest had to be threatened. When the arrest was finally pronounced, the 26-year-old wife also started screaming and tried to prevent her husband from being arrested. However, the woman was calmed down and a little later picked up her husband, who had calmed down at the police station in Traun. Both are reported to the Linz-Land district authority several times.
