The question of the release of GTA 6 is driving fans almost crazy. A well-known insider now names a possible time period, including for the announcement.

More than ten years have passed since the release of GTA 5 and Rockstar Games has still not properly announced GTA 6. The fans either take it with humor or their nerves are overstrained.
Nevertheless, they continue to listen to rumors about the upcoming blockbuster and they particularly prefer those from well-known insiders and leakers. One such industry expert is Tez2, who regularly comments on the new game in the GTA forum.
A forum member there asked him whether 2024 was still the “deadline” for the release. In his answer, Tez2 points out that it is not a deadline and writes that various developers are assuming a release window in spring 2025.
Announcement only possible in 2024
Tez2 is still speculating about an announcement as part of the GTA anniversary (10 years of GTA 5) between November and December 2023. If this does not happen, Tez2 believes in a reveal in February 2024.
That would be a longer wait for many fans than previously thought, as there have been repeated indications in recent months that the first trailer for GTA 6 would come at the end of 2023. There is still a chance of this happening, but the first voices like those from Tez2 are now emerging that point to a later announcement. It remains exciting.
What could speak for a later reveal would be the announcement of another game from Rockstar. It would be a shock for many fans, but Rockstar may be planning to announce a GTA Mobile collection before the GTA 6 event.
