When is the end of Young Royals released on Netflix?


Season 3 of Young Royals is the last, and for the occasion, Netflix has divided it into two parts.

Like Heartstopper for the United Kingdom, Blood & Water for South Africa,AlRawabi School for Girls for Jordan, Sweden also has its teen series and it is Young Royals. Prince Wilhelm, first in line to the throne, falls in love with a boy when he arrives at a new boarding school: it is therefore a gay love story, hampered by conventions. The last episode of the series is coming soon, closing season 3.

No season 4 for Young Royals

It is official : season 3 of Young Royals is the very last one. There will be no season 4 ordered by Netflix. We can see it as good news and bad news: on the one hand, we will have to say goodbye to the characters – Wilhelm, Simon, Sarah, Felice and the others –, on the other, the series benefits from a real ending.

Season 3 was put online on March 11, 2024. But episode 6 is not yet available: while episode 5 ends on a cliffhanger, the ending has been carefully saved for later. Must wait Monday March 18 for its online posting. If Netflix keeps this episode aside to make it an event, it is very likely that it will be much longer than the others.

Note that this is apparently not the last time we see the two actors together. In an interview, Omar Rudberg recently explained that he is working with Edvin Ryding on another project: “ People may be sad that the show is ending and Edvin and I won’t be seen playing or working together anymore. But you know what ? Edvin and I are going to do things together in the future. (…) We are working on something that is a little secret, but stay tuned because you will see Edvin and I doing things together in the future. It’s not quite finished. »
