When Palworld really turns into Pokemon, it’s magnificent

The Pokemon clone with weapons, Palworld, has angered Nintendo. A disturbing resemblance which is even more accentuated with this unique creation.

Palworld is the Pokemon clone “but with guns” that everyone has been waiting for. If it doesn’t really describe itself like that, it must be admitted that the similarities with the Game Freak title are uncanny. Some creatures are almost identical and the game system, including capturing, shares strange similarities. But it is possible to go even further. Fans have also undertaken to cultivate this relationship between the two software. A home project that rather flatters the retina.

Palworld Pokemon DS version

Palword took a little trip back in time thanks to a demake that propels it onto the Nintendo DS. If you’re not familiar with the term, it’s simply the opposite of remake. That is to say, we reproduce a recent game on an old generation console. Here, the goal is clearly to remix Palworld in the style of Pokemon of the time. The YouTuber 64 Bits is at the origin of this creation and is already known for having produced numerous demakes such as that of Stray, Mass Effect or Elden Ring. “There’s a lot of inspiration coming from Pokémon Ranger, Black and White, Diamond And Pearl, virtually every DS Pokemon title. But we also looked at games like The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass” can we read in the description.

As we can see in the video, the result is really successful! Everything has been recreated for the Nintendo DS, from the graphics, to the music and even the game box. We thus find all the elements of Palworld: the main character walks among the Pals (the creatures), chops wood, walks fights and builds its base. It’s really a perfect reproduction of the software, which is not limited to giving it an aged appearance. Every effort has been made to make this a title that feels real and playable as much as possible. Okay, unfortunately this is just a video. If the idea is funny, it will probably never see the light of day. Palworld, which is available on Xbox Series
