While TF1 launched its new morning show, “Bonjour” on Monday, distributor Paramount Pictures took the opportunity to promote the film Mean Girls: Lolita Despite Mewhich comes out in theaters on Wednesday.
This Monday, January 8, 2024, TF1 launched its new streaming service, TF1+, free and with advertising, in parallel with another important first: that of its morning show Good morning, led by Bruce Toussaint and his band. The new headline event has also inspired the communications teams at Paramount Pictures France, who have just engaged in a “let’s meet them” to promote their next film.
Paramount diverts the poster of its own film and teases TF1
Wednesday releases the feature film in cinemas Mean Girls: Lolita in spite of myself, adaptation of the musical of the same name. The film, produced and distributed by Paramount Pictures, is directed by Tina Fey, with the aim of updating the famous comedy of the 2000s, Lolita in spite of myself.
Teasingly, the Paramount Pictures France teams hijacked the TF1 morning show and its next film to promote the film which is released in cinemas on Wednesday. On X (ex-Twitter), they present to us like this: Good morning ! Journalists in spite of themselves ”, explaining that “ you will love your breakfast », while diverting the main protagonists of the channel’s new morning show, including Bruce Toussaint, Karima Charni and Christophe Beaugrand, from the real poster of the feature film.
