The creative director of the studio behind Helldiverse 2 organized a giant brainstorming session on Twitter, to ask fans for some ideas for new things. The message received more than 5,000 responses.
Helldiverse 2 is a cooperative online experience, in which players fight together against threats to “controlled democracy”. It could downright become collaborative, according to this article published by PC Gamer on May 28. In recent days, Johan Pilestedt, the game’s creative director, took to Twitter to ask fans for ideas.

His tweet received more than 5,000 responses, proof that there are a lot of creative directors that lie dormant among aficionados. “ It’s much more fun than brainstorming in a meeting room. We’ll see if some ideas will come to fruition. », he adds. Some are really interesting.

There is obviously everything in the community’s suggestions. “ A bomb with a shockwave. Little damage, but an immense shock wave that pushes everything back. Or an incandescent bomb. Flood the area with glowing bullets. Grind all enemies that don’t have armor », presents for example the Internet user Shams Jorjani, who has everything of a real war leader.
Nasdorachi pushes the delirium even further: “ A huge carpet of heavy bombs with slow reloading would be cool. Or the ship sends three small autonomous mechas that follow us and fight with us. Others take the opportunity to recall the concerns that penalize Helldiverse 2, namely the deployment of too many rebalancings which lower the power of certain arsenal pieces, to the great dismay of the most loyal soldiers. “ A ploy that won’t be inhibited once it becomes popular? », quips Glocktor Who.
We recall thatHelldiverse 2 is currently facing a drop in attendance which penalizes the way in which major new features are implemented: players must complete colossal challenges to unlock certain elements. However, if there are not enough, the challenges in question cannot be completed. Asking the community for ideas is an interesting lever to stem the crisis.
