A bad accident happened on Sunday morning on the Tyrolean federal highway in Zirl (district of Innsbruck Land). A car driver and a motorcyclist collided while turning. Both were injured.
According to the police, the driver of the car wanted to turn left into a parking lot on Tiroler Straße. The motorcycle driver hit the car head-on and fell. The motorcycle driver was seriously injured and the car driver suffered serious injuries. Both vehicles were also heavily damaged. A lengthy traffic jam formed during the clean-up work.
