Gaspard Ulliel has passed away. He succumbed to his injuries after a skiing accident which took place at the resort of La Rosière, in Savoie. The actor collided with another individual at the intersection of two tracks. The emergency services intervened quickly and after 1h15 of care provided on the spot, he was transported to the Grenoble University Hospital in serious condition. Victim of a major head trauma, he breathed his last on January 19, 2022. A tragedy.

Very well known for his immense talent as an actor, he was revealed in “Embrace who you want”, “The Last Day”, then “A long engagement Sunday” which earned him his first César at just 20 years old. Alongside his acting career, Gaspard Ulliel was also a muse for the Chanel house, notably for the Bleu perfume. The actor was recognizable among a thousand by his calm and calm voice, but also his face with a scar on the cheek.

Where did that little scar come from?

For a long time, this scar on the left cheek of Gaspard Ulliel fueled all the rumours: fight in a bar, accident… However, it was not so. At the age of six, Gaspard Ulliel got too close to a sleeping Doberman. This one scratched his face leaving him this mark that we knew him. During an interview with Konbini, he said he had “fairly accurate images of what happened that day. The tree at the foot of which this dog lay.“He added:”From the moment I had my cheek stitched up. […] It’s part of me. I didn’t necessarily see that as an asset, nor as a disadvantage, it’s a bit in between in fact.“
