Where to find Heatran in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Trainers looking for the Caldera Pokémon will have to wait a bit because Heatran is not available until you complete the story main. To unlock it, Penséa will give you clues then you will have to obtain by Garana the mission n°22 “Fire-Spitting Island Plaque”.

The request is given immediately after completing the campaign and talking to NPCs. Follow the steps below to find Heatran.

1. Directly after receiving mission #22, head to Lazuli Coast.
2. Once there, travel fast at Fire-Spitting Island Camp east of the map.
3. Once on the island, go to Lava Arena.
4. Find the Pearl Clan leader Garana then enter the Caldera Altar to meet Heatran.

Heatran’s Lair is located on Firespit Island in the north of the region.

How to Capture Heatran in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Capturing Heatran is similar to capturing Monarchs, in that you must first overcome a small challenge before being able to fight it. Indeed, a magma barrier protects Heatran from any damage.

Trainers who have already collected a Mud dumpling must equip it before entering Heatran’s lair. If you don’t have the item in your bag, you can pick it up on the floor in the room. Here are the steps to follow to catch the magma Pokémon quickly.

1. Pick up dumplings of Mud and throw them on the shield Pokemon.
2. After hitting the legendary multiple times, his protection will fall. Now throw your Pokémon to start a fight against it.
3. Use super effective attacks Of type Water, Ground Where fight to reduce his health to a yellow or red bar.
4. Once it’s weakened, throw a Great Ball or a Hyper Ball to capture it.
