Fans of the Star Academy 2023 had reason to be over the moon, Saturday December 2. The fifth bonus of this new edition was broadcast from 9:10 p.m. on TF1. The evening, presented by Nikos Aliagas, was rich in emotions. Singing, dancing, stage expression… The academicians who were not in the spotlight had the opportunity to take part in dazzling performances, thus reaping the fruits of their labor. To accompany them, the composer and musician Matthieu Gonet – well known to early telecrochet aficionados – was present, with his philharmonic orchestra.
For the students nominated this week (Candice, Djebril and Victorien), it was less a time for celebration than for stress. As tradition dictates, each of them was offered the opportunity to sing one last song during the ceremony. The objective: to allow viewers who are still undecided to refine their choice. The votes have spoken: Candice, who found herself on the bench of nominees for the first time, was saved by the public. In other words, she was immediately able to join her comrades. The latter then had the heavy task of decide between Djebril and Victorien. It was the first one that they decided to bring back with them to the castle of Dammarie-lès-Lys. The second, a 23-year-old oyster farmer, was forced to leave the adventure.
Victorien is the fourth academician of the 2023 class to have been eliminated, after Marie-Maud, Lola and Louis. The more the competition progresses, the more difficult it will become to decide between the candidates, for whom choosing a comrade to eliminate is, every week, heartbreaking.
