Breakups alone are tough enough. A separation during pregnancy – pure horror! Unfortunately for these twelve women it became a reality.

Going to the first ultrasound examination with your partner, arranging the children's room together, choosing a name – pregnancy is a magical time for most couples. Many people are even closer to this experience. For us women in this exciting phase of life there is hardly anything more relieving and calming than feeling that we will not be alone with the challenges that lie ahead of us. That our partner is and will be there for us and the baby. On the other hand, it is all the harder when a relationship breaks up during pregnancy, of all places. What it feels like to go through a breakup in this sensitive phase of life was shared by numerous brave women on "Whisper".

1. Just let it out!

"I still can't believe I'll be a single mom. I'm only 22, pregnant, and just getting divorced from my idiot husband. I just want to cry."

2. Does it occur to him just in time …

"I'm seven months pregnant. My husband cheated on me and we're now getting a divorce. So he can 'find himself'."
