Nothing screams spring and summer in fashion like the color white. As soon as the first warm rays of sun come out, our favorite white items of clothing move up one floor in the closet at home and thus back into focus. Always at the forefront: the white dress. Slip on in the morning and we're ready for the day.
Also in 2020 we won't get enough of the fashionable all-rounder and in the spring we mainly focus on three models. Curious?
1. The white midi dress
Midi dresses have been favorites of fashionistas for several years. The dresses, which reach about the middle of the calves, are elegant, perfect for every occasion and especially ideal in spring, as they defy cooler days. So it is no wonder that the fashion professionals are once again fully focusing on midi dresses this season and pimping them for spring in a bright white. If you like it a little more casual, you can choose a cool model with a button placket and tie belt and style a few strappy sandals with a kitten wheel. On the other hand, it becomes more romantic with a model with ruffles or puff sleeves. In addition a few espadrilles – et voilà!
2. The white lace dress
Last year it announced itself, in 2020 it finally arrived: the Lochspitze. The models on the Chanel or Givenchy catwalks have already shown it and we can't wait to imitate them. Whether very coarse or a little finer – white dresses now come out really big in lace. The advantage: lace dresses look ultra-feminine and playful. To further enhance this effect, this spring we are also going to use figure-hugging cuts or models with a stressed waist. For a light look, we combine nude accessories.
3. The white shirt dress
Sometimes we stand in front of the closet and just don't know what to wear. Luckily there is the white shirt dress aka the all-rounder the all-rounder among the spring dresses. What makes it so special: it is a true fashion chameleon. If you like it feminine and playful, choose a short model with ruffles, puff sleeves or sweet belts and choose a few loafers. If you like the ultimate sports look, grab a pair of dad sneakers and throw yourself into the extended version of a shirt – this creates a cool out of my boyfriends closet attitude.
