After “White Noise” attracted international attention with its Venice premiere, the film adaptation of the novel is finally starting on Netflix. The drama, which has meanwhile also started in cinemas, can be seen on the streaming service from December 30th.
The story of the absurd mystery drama revolves around the star academic and Hitler researcher Jack and his family, who are confronted with the catastrophic consequences of a chemical accident. In Venice, “White Noise” competed for the Golden Lion and secured an award for director Noah Baumbach.
In addition to the star-studded international ensemble around “Star Wars” anti-hero Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig and Don Cheadle, the German actor Lars Eidinger, well-known from “Babylon Berlin”, can also be seen in the film adaptation of Don DeLillo’s novel.
