A week after Whitney Port, 38, on Instagram that even her husband Tim Rosenmann is already worried about her weight, the influencer talks about her health in her podcast “With Whit”.

Whitney Port: ‘I don’t look healthy’

Fans have been expressing their fear for the ex-MTV star for a long time and asking Instagram if she would be fine. Whitney now admits that her very slender figure has been causing alarm among her family for some time. In her podcast, Whitney says that the number on the scale in particular shocked her and opened her eyes. “I’m definitely not eating enough and I don’t look healthy right now,” admits the influencer, saying she doesn’t like the way she looks either.

I often have no energy because I don’t give myself what I really need.

In the past, Whitney has ignored comments about her looks. Speaking on the podcast, the ‘The Hills’ star opened up that she just felt the issue wasn’t as big as everyone would think and didn’t want to give anyone cause for concern. Now she seems to realize that something needs to change about her eating habits and wants to make her health a priority.

Her MTV time is also discussed in the podcast. Because she became famous at such an early age, she had already started dealing with her own appearance at a young age. She might recall being shocked to see herself on TV for the first time and feeling like she needed to lose weight. It likely would have set off a spiral of wanting to “keep control” of her appearance at all costs, Whitney said.

Cooking tutoring is desired!

It would be fitting for Food Network’s Katie Lee Biegel to be a guest in the episode, Whitney laughs and reveals that she now wants to improve her cooking skills.

“I want to eat consciously, give my body the right things and exercise to build muscle.”

She also thanks her fans for the concern and support they always give her and promises to take more care of themselves in the future.

Her family’s concern opened her eyes

Whitney has spoken out about her dieting experiences in the past. During her time on MTV, she admitted that at times she only ate 1,000 calories and shocked with the statement that she had never eaten pasta. According to the DGE (German Nutrition Society), a physically active woman between the ages of 25 and 51 should consume around 2,400 calories a day, which Whitney was less than half. Last week, the influencer shared that her husband Tim Rosenmann had sought a conversation with her and expressed his concern.

She herself, according to Whitney, did not realize what was happening. Whitney also emphasized that she’s not concerned with losing weight or sticking to a particular diet. She would have simply neglected the food and would have been “too lazy” to do her own Making nutrition a priority.
