End clap for Les Arcs 2023! From December 16 to 23, the big names of the big screen gathered for this new edition of the European Film Festival, chaired by Asghar Farhadi. In total, around ten films were rewarded during this summit event, focusing on European cinematographic creations, but also on music with the presence of artists such as Zaho de Sagazan, Vitalic and Voyou.

But that’s not all, since in addition to the films in competition, festival-goers were able to discover or rediscover productions during special screenings or previews, such as Bonnard, Pierre et Marthe, La Chimère, Her Father’s Daughter, The Animal Kingdom, Making of or the De Grace series.

Within the selection of feature films, the jury composed in particular of actors Rebecca Marder and Vincent Lacoste awarded the Crystal Arrow for best film to Slow, the second directorial effort by Lithuanian Marija Kavtaradze which tells a love story that is as carnal as it is sensitive.

Among the big winners, we also find the filmmaker Xavier Legrand who, after Until the Guard, is back with The Successor, a thriller carried by Marc-André Grondin (The First Day of the Rest of Your Life) in the world of the fashion.
