Who are the executives most affected by unemployment?

It is an iron law to which the employment market does not derogate. Managers suffer much less from unemployment than other categories of workers, especially in periods of growth. An unprecedented study, conducted by Pôle Emploi and the Association for the employment of executives (APEC), even concludes that this category of assets is in fact “relatively spared from unemployment”. And for good reason. The rate of jobseekers among business executives reached only 4.1% in 2021. Almost half the unemployment rate of the entire working population, which stood at 7.9% in the same period . This unemployment rate below the 5% mark for executives clearly reflects a situation of full employment as defined by the International Labor Organization.
