An affable president

Chairing the parliamentary commission of inquiry into the allocation of digital terrestrial television (DTT) frequencies means seeing all the media and political elite parade by. Headliners from C8 and CNews (several times sanctioned by the audiovisual police), big media bosses, like Vincent Bolloré and Rodolphe Saadé, or former ministers of culture: Quentin Bataillon has invited them all. The president conducted the hearings without losing his smile. A performance considered not really pugnacious by many observers. Others saw calm and control. As for Cyril Hanouna, the day after his appearance before the commission, he assured during his show, “TPMP”, that the elected official was ” great “. The discussions were also marked by tensions with the commission’s rapporteur, the “rebellious” Aurélien Saintoul. During the hearing of Rachida Dati, on March 21, Quentin Bataillon did not hesitate to remove the microphone from his colleague whom he accused of establishing “a negative climate”.
