Who wants to be a millionaire ?: Günther Jauch accidentally reveals the correct answer

Günther Jauch (63) has been moderating the quiz show "Who wants to be a millionaire?" For over 20 years, but he has never undertaken such a faux pas as yesterday (Monday, May 25). When asked the 1,000-euro question from candidate Haidar Chahrour (33) from Schleswig: "What can be converted into the exact opposite by inserting an 'N'?" Too bad that Jauch blabbed when reading the four answer options and immediately gave the correct answer.

Instead of the "career kick", he involuntarily read the "career break" and gave the correct solution, much to the delight of the candidate. Jauch apparently took the faux pas with humor and joked: "Embarrassing! I have to apologize to the questions editor who worked on this question for 3.7 days."

After the show he said to broadcaster RTL: "It has happened to me many times that I made a mistake or read things so stupidly or stupidly that at that moment the answer was absolutely clear. I am really annoyed with one of those Slip of the tongue. " In the end, candidate Haidar Chahrour won 64,000 euros, not least thanks to the strong help of the moderator.
