Evelyn Burdecki took a seat as a candidate on the council chair of the “WWM” anniversary program – and almost failed because of the 5 euro question.

Günther Jauch (64) welcomed Evelyn Burdecki (32) as a surprise candidate on Thursday evening in the “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” Episode (RTL, too via TVNow). The quiz master had to be at the TV star’s side with the second question: “Does the Kebekus like the male gender, does the …? A: Piek Könige, B: Hertz Damen, C: Caro Buben or D: Kroiz Aces. ” Based on the comedian Carolin Kebekus (41), the correct answer would have been “Caro Buben”. But Burdecki couldn’t do anything with the word “Kebekus”: “What is a Kebekus? Is that a card game?”

The public joker was ultimately able to help with the 5 euro question, the correct solution was guessed with 100 percent and Burdecki trusted the judgment. In the end, the reality star that brought his father to the show also lost the penny: “Now I know who! She’s totally likeable, from TV!” The anniversary show started with a single euro, followed by five euros. In order to get the main prize of one and a half million euros, the candidates were able to win schnapps number prizes. Burdecki cleared 15,555 euros for a good cause.

Unlucky candidate can guess again

Janos Pigerl, among others, was also allowed to take a seat on the chair. He suffered a bitter defeat in the quiz show in January 2021 and fell from 750,000 to 1,000 euros. In the anniversary special, he was not only allowed to be a joker, but also took a seat on the chair. He was able to use his second chance, but the defeat echoed. With the 555,555 euro question, the candidate tended to find the right solution, but ultimately decided on the safe option and went home with 133,333 euros: “I’ll leave it at that, I don’t want to overstrain my luck.”
