Who Wants to Be a Millionaire ?: The national soccer team visits Günther Jauch

The next "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" Celebrity Special is coming up. This time the national soccer team will answer Günther Jauch's questions.

In the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" Special with the title addition "The team is playing", six players from the national soccer team and those responsible for the DFB team answer questions from Günther Jauch (64). Competing for a good cause: Midfielder Leon Goretzka (25), right-back Joshua Kimmich (25), central defender Niklas Süle (25), defender Lukas Klostermann (24), goalkeeper Kevin Trapp (30) and DFB director Oliver Bierhoff (52) . Moderator Barbara Schöneberger (46) is ready as an additional telephone joker.

Host Jauch increases the pressure a bit in advance: "I always find it unfair when it is said that footballers can only score goals. Now you can prove that that is not the case. We have had footballers on the show before : Lukas Podolski won 125,000 euros at the celebrity special and Manuel Neuer even cleared half a million euros. So we can be very excited. " Striker Podolski (35) was with the national soccer team from 2004 to 2017, goalkeeper Neuer (34) has been with the team since 2009. Both became world champions in 2014.

Three candidate duos – Goretzka and Kimmich, Süle and Klostermann, Trapp and Bierhoff – each play for a million. The "team behind the team" of the DFB is available in the studio as an additional joker. There is no audience to protect against the corona virus. The viewers will see what amount the kickers can earn on Monday (October 12) at 8:15 p.m. on RTL.
