The rumors about the VR headset from Apple have been linked for several months. However, the Apple brand has still not revealed its device to the general public. And this presentation should not take place right away.

According to information published in May by various sources, Apple’s virtual reality headset has experienced extremely difficult development. Little supported by the great pundits of the American firm, the project has long stagnated… So much so that an announcement in good and due form is still desired. Unfortunately, the situation may not change for many weeks.

An appointment already missed

We saw it coming, and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo seems to confirm it today. The famous VR / AR headset designed by Apple should not be shown during the keynote at the opening of WWDC 2022. The event will begin on June 6 before ending on June 10. Various announcements are expected, in particular those concerning new Macs.

According to Kuo, the absence of the device is explained by the fact that Apple thinks that its competitors might copy the functionalities of the headset even before its launch. The analyst repeats in passing that the device will not be released before the beginning of 2023. This therefore leaves time for Tim Cook’s firm to begin the actual communication.
