While he was in the middle of filming his portrait for the new season of “Love is in the meadow”, a candidate got up and left the set. And for good reason, he was talking about a difficult personal subject and would not have been able to contain his emotions.
Good news for fans of Love is in the meadow : a brand new season will soon be broadcast on M6. For this 18th edition, a unique cast of singles will actually rely on Karine Le Marchand to try to find true love. But before lending themselves to the traditional game of letters, speed-dating and meetings on the farm, the fourteen candidates this year (eleven men and three women) must present themselves in the famous portraits which will be broadcast on January 30 and February 6. A step that did not go as planned for one of the farmers.
Indeed, as we can see in the extract broadcast on social networks by the production, Friday, January 20, Julian, 42 years oldhas left the set in a hurry while he was talking with emotion of his personal life and his celibacy. “It touches me because I’m scared of ending up on my own. I just want someone who cares about who I am. In fact, I want people to care about me for what I am. I am, and not for what I seem. I have no self-confidence because I think that there is much more beautiful than me, much more interesting than me… What I miss is being important to someone“explained the candidate, in tears, before leaving the set.

If he promises to be particularly touching, Julien should also remind viewers of some memories. The forties has actually already made an appearance in Love is in the meadow, in 2015, as a suitor. “Julien already participated eight years ago, but as a suitor. He had been invited to the Parisian speed-dating by Guillaume, the first homosexual farmer registered on the show”, said Karine Le Marchand. Unfortunately, Guillaume had decided to put an end to their story before it could begin, sending Julien home even before filming on the farm. “I was a pretender, it didn’t work out, so basically in my head I was like, ‘Go the other way'”said the candidate.
