Why is Saudi Arabia recruiting dozens of football stars? Understand in three minutes

With his transfer to Al-Hilal on August 15, valued at 90 million euros, Neymar joins the now long list of football stars playing in the Saudi league. And if the clubs of Saudi Arabia are able to spend so much money, it is because the four main ones were bought in June by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund (Public Investment Fund, PIF), financed by oil exploitation in the country.
