VS’is a surprising warning, written in full on the Sea Shepherd France website, in a press release entitled Donation Vigilance. We must not give money to Sea Shepherd, because the sums collected are likely to be used “to attack Paul Watson” before the American courts.

Explanation: there are now several Sea Shepherds. The association for the protection of the oceans, and more specifically of marine mammals, has exploded into two antagonistic camps. On the one hand, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, for the United States, allied with Sea Shepherd Global, a structure based in the Netherlands, which oversees activities in Africa and part of Europe.
