The number of households benefiting from the RSA is estimated at 1.82 million, which corresponds to a decrease of 2.3% compared to the 4th quarter of 2022). This development is part of the downward trend in numbers observed since the start of 2021. Including spouses, children and other dependents in the household, nearly 3.65 million people are covered by the RSA at the start of 2021. 4th quarter 2023, underlines CAF.

Despite everything, even if the amounts paid decrease, the average monthly amount per household is estimated at 536 euros in the 4th quarter of 2023, increasing by 1.6% compared to the 4th quarter of 2022.
