The Visa Classic card, usual between BforBank’s range, is no longer offered to new customers on the online banking website. And it’s not really a choice on his part.
Visa Premier or Visa Infinite: on its website, BforBank leaves no other alternative for new customers wishing to open a deposit account. The Visa Classic card, which served as an entry-level card until now, no longer appears in the catalog of the online bank of Crdit Agricole.
Why this disappearance? Asked about the subject, BforBank’s communication had not yet been able to answer us at the time of publishing this article, which will be updated if necessary. However, it seems that this is not the result of a choice. In an email, an advertising platform working with BforBank explains that online banking is currently undergoing a breaking of [ses] inventory Classic cards (…).

This absence, no doubt temporary, of the Visa Classic card does not change anything, however, to BforBank access. In order not to penalize its new customers, online banking has indeed lowered 1200 euros net monthly, against 1600 euros in normal times, the income threshold necessary to obtain a free Visa Premier card. Or the level of income usually requested by the Visa Classic. If you have a modest income, this is the opportunity to benefit from a premium card, well equipped with insurance, at a lower cost.
