DECRYPTION – The cosmetics group will cut 300 jobs. It could close one of its three Breton factories by 2025.

Yves Rocher may be the favorite cosmetics brand of the French, but it is in turmoil. At the beginning of 2023, the Cosmetify ranking consecrated it, for the fourth year in a row. The day before, the Rocher group (Yves Rocher, Petit Bateau, Dr Pierre Ricaud, etc.) had nevertheless signed an agreement for the management of jobs and career paths (GEPP), providing for the elimination of 300 positions on all of its Breton production sites. . “If production volumes remained on the trend of the last 3 years, stopping activity at Ploërmel could be a plausible scenario by 2025”warns the group.
