Netflix unveils early September Love in the villa, a romantic comedy set in the city of Romeo and Juliet.
Netflix has bet a lot on romances during the summer. Subscribers were thus able to discover the new seasons of Virgin Riverof my first timesor even First Killas well as the movie Persuasion. This enthusiasm should continue in September with romantic comedy Love in the villa. A film that does not hide its ambitions since it surfs on the myth of Romeo and Juliet. The scene takes place in beautiful Verona where the world’s most famous lovers met their tragic fate.
Julia, a blue flower teacher, passionate about the work of Shakespeare, but also obsessed with control and planning, planned to go there with her boyfriend for a romantic trip. But this one leaves her just before. It is therefore alone that she goes to Italy. At least, that’s what she thinks.
Arguments and Romance
She will indeed have to share her room with Charlie, another tourist who is as attractive as he is annoying, and perfectly sealed off from the stories of eternal love. The cohabitation will quickly turn into a confrontation worthy of the vendetta between Montague and Capulet. This should give a significant spice to this comedy, which is nonetheless romantic. As we suspect, aversion will give way to attraction, always with Romeo and Juliet in the background. Julie will introduce Charlie to the beauties of this city she has always dreamed of.
This is Kat Graham, known in particular for her role in the series Vampire Diaries who will play the charming Julie. The role of Charlie will be interpreted by Tom Hooper, the colossus ofUmbrella Academy Where Black Sails. He too will trade in his big arm habits for a softer register.
