Apple no longer gives itself a specific date for the release of its future augmented reality glasses.

Apple struggles with its glasses
The tech giant is convinced that the future belongs to new forms of reality. And not to miss the train, the company founded by Steve Jobs is working on the construction of its very first augmented reality glasses. A particularly complicated task that pushed Apple to its limits. And to make a radical decision.
This is explained by new information revealed by Bloomberg News. According to the American media, the apple firm has simply decided to postpone the release of its futuristic glasses indefinitely. This strategic reversal was allegedly caused by the technical difficulties caused by the manufacture of the product.
Virtual reality in consolation
But the same source tells us that Apple still intends to move forward on its mixed reality headset. Its release date, however, is still a bit random.
For Bloomberg News, this very first step of Apple in virtual reality should be concretized by a launch in the spring. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who reported to us a few days ago the problems encountered by Apple in the development of these headphones, expected the worst for a release in autumn 2023. In both cases, the American company should be able to market it this year.
Its first version should cost the exorbitant price of 3,000 dollars, in a market where a Meta Quest Pro is displayed at half the price. The Californian firm is well aware of this weakness. Thus, it is already preparing for a second generation of headphones at a reduced price, with a release scheduled for 2024 or 2025. The glasses could well wait a few more years.
