When visibility was poor and it was completely dark, Ferlach mountain rescuers moved up to the larch tower on Thursday evening. A climber from Vienna was stuck there.
Mountain rescuers from the Ferlach branch had to move up to the Lärchenturm in the evening after an alpinist from Vienna got stuck and made an emergency call.
The emergency services had to fight their way through fog and ice to the mountaineer. The already slightly hypothermic could be reached late in the evening and brought down to the valley.
